Strategic growth in Switzerland

 

WEBSTAR acquires a small competitor in the French speaking part of Switzerland. The     company Gaumann SA is also family-owned and still run by the owners, which decided to retire  and give the company into new hands. It’s a perfect match for WEBSTAR. They operated in the same sector and have well known customers such as 5-star hotels or local communities. For WEBSTAR it’s important to bundle strengths as logistics or the collaboration with suppliers, which will be both transferred to WEBSTAR’s warehouse in Dielsdorf.

Tobias Weber, owner of WEBSTAR, said: “We are happy to strengthen our position in the French speaking part of Switzerland. It was a strategically important acquisition for our business. It was a key fact, that the sales representatives stay with us. With them we can make sure to serve the customers as usual.”

On the other hand, the former owners are sure that they found the right successor: “as a family-owned company, we were looking for the right solution for our employees, customers and partners. We are sure, that all requirements are met with WEBSTAR”.
