Member News from Denmark | VTK A/S to acquire Aktum A/S
We are pleased to share that our Danish member VTK has entered into an agreement to acquire Aktum, bringing together two well-established companies with shared values and complementary strengths.
The combination will offer important benefits:
- Reinforced nationwide reach – VTK’s strong position in Jutland meets Aktum’s strong position on Zealand, creating one platform to serve professional customers throughout Denmark.
- A broader range – VTK’s strength in cleaning and hygiene solutions combines with Aktum’s strength in HoReCa and public institutions.
- Enhanced service – two businesses with the same approach to customers, employees and long-term development throughout Denmark.
Kristian Hermann Kristiansen, CEO of VTK, highlighted the strong alignment between the two companies and the opportunity to combine their expertise, product ranges and service capabilities. Peter Bergman, CEO of Aktum, emphasized the importance of finding a new owner that shares Aktum’s commitment to its customers and employees, as well as its long-term values.
