A special birthday party – Hazet turned 90

Hazet was founded on 1 July 1931 and now, 90 years later, the current owners Wanda and Marc van‘t Veer are proud of their origins. Hazet is originally a Zaandamse company. After this time, it is still a well-known business in the region and has now also nationwide coverage throughout the Netherlands. From initially 3,5 people (father and sons) at the start, Hazet currently employs 79 people.

The 90 years party was celebrated small and online on 1 July, partly due to the restrictions of corona. The employees received a small “party-bag” in advance, filled with special made „Hazet 90 years“ champagne glasses, a beautiful bottle of champagne and some decorations. To make the party at home, due to the restrictions, as cozy and festive as possible. With a fun online pub quiz and the necessary history questions about Hazet, it was a party to remember. Especially, when everyone opened the champagne at home and together – even online can be close – toasting to the next 90 years of Hazet!

Hazet will celebrate the upcoming 91 years in 2022 hopefully in a big way and preferably in-person together! And with its customers.
